Giulio took his first steps into the restaurant world in 2004. At a very young age, he followed in his father Fabio's footsteps in an attempt to learn all those secrets that will lead him, many years later, to manage all the restaurants of the Cibrèo Group. Giulio lives his experience as a restaurateur with the same approach as a young apprentice in a Florentine artisan workshop, gathering a wealth of experience made up of intimate knowledge, impossible to acquire in a classic training course.
In his career as a restaurateur, he has had the opportunity to organise events for personalities in the food and wine industry such as Vandana Shiva, Carlo Petrini, Enzo Vizzari, but also for other personalities such as Elton John, H.M. King Charles III, the Royal Family of Holland, Giorgio Armani, and many others.
A self-taught artist, he explored drawing from an early age, relying on colours and pencil strokes to interpret the world. Small villages reminiscent of Florence and the Sant'Ambrogio district itself where the red-roofed houses are united and aligned as if holding hands, mirrored creating a 'world above' and one below, flying in blue skies. In his project 'Flying Cities', the city becomes a narrative fabric that takes on ideal forms - a heart, a fish - traversed by the vital wake of water that envelops it like a snake.
The story of these visions takes shape through the acrylic technique with large colour fields of a thousand shades like in children's games. For years Giulio's works have also been found on the posters of the Teatro del Sale, the Circus-lo directed by Maria Cassi. For these posters Giulio experiments with a mixed technique alternating hand drawing with digital graphics and creating a new style where figures are set free on flat solid-coloured backgrounds, releasing a timeless, surreal and intimate atmosphere.
Today, Giulio still collaborates with various organisations and companies on graphic design and illustration projects.
